Scotch Prime

Scotch Prime Export beef is selected from traditional beef breeds under 30 months of age and supported by an assurance scheme which traces and confirms the animals birth, gender, breed, diet, veterinary care, husbandry methods, environmental needs, transport, slaughter, chilling regime, cutting, packaging, storage and ultimately, delivery to the customer. All these standards are audited to European EN45011 by independent authorities.

At the processing stage, ABP Scotland deploy the tried and tested method of low voltage stimulation and consideratechilling to all carcases to achieve a more consistant base quality. ABP also offer the facility to clients to further enhance quality by maturation or specific cutting methods. Regardless of the specification criteria you choose, you can be sure your product will be handled by highly trained teams with skill disciplines ranging from butchery to microbiology.
